Bethann Kelleher received her B.F.A in ceramics with a minor in Fiber Arts from Indiana University of PA. She studied in Gubbio, Italy from master potter Leo Grilli during her internship. From there she continued to develop her ceramic exploration at Seton Hill University while she attained her K-12 Teaching Certificate. After teaching and growing the Ceramics Department at The Center for the Creative Arts in Yorklyn, DE, she opened her own studio. In 2020, BBK Ceramics was opened and began production in Wilmington, Delaware. Her current personal work explores the function of mugs, steins and drinking vessels which are decorated with slip design/trailing and underglaze transfers.
