David Miao started making art from a young age attending the Glassell School of Art from elementary to high school, learning how to make traditional art from all mediums. While in college he discovered a passion for anime and manga that reignited his desire to create art. After graduating from Texas A&M University (2021) with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics, he has started a new art journey to create anime art like the anime illustrators he admires. His favorite mediums to work with are digital, pencil, and ink. He appreciates this opportunity to teach at Cordovan Art School and share his passion.
