Jen Davis comes from a long line of artists. As a young girl, she was taught art by her mother how to paint and draw. In fact, her mother taught an art class out of her house to neighborhood kids during summer.
At college, Jen studied digital media, animation, and web design. Some of the elective classes included color theory, oil painting, figure painting, and other artistic mediums. Color theory was the single most valuable class she took that has had so many applications in her life, inside and out of art.
After graduating, Jen went on to work as a graphic designer and art director, designed statewide-distributed illustrative children’s calendars, a semi-processional home stage and interior designer. She has also been featured on a prestigious design blog for a 750 page book she complied, edited, designed, and published for her family.
