Cordovan Art School offers the BEST Thanksgiving Fall Art camps in the Greater Austin Area!

All camps are designed for AGES 5-13. Artist are divided into smaller age groups based on age. Project difficulty varies according to age. ALL Supplies ARE included in camp prices. All artist’s should bring a snack. FULL DAY artists should bring a lunch. 

Extended Care: Early drop off starts at 7:30am. Late pick up until 6:00pm. Pre-registration required.

Cordovan Camp FAQ

Do I need to bring my own supplies?:
  • No, Cordovan supplies all materials.
When should I register?:
  • Seats are limited and can fill up fast! To guarantee your child a spot register once you’ve decided which camp(s) they should attend.
When is payment due?:
  • Payment is due upon registration. If you would like to set up a payment plan we’re happy to do so. Give us a call at (737) 300-1200.
I only need one day of Extended Care, not the whole week. Can I do that?
  • Definitely! Give us a call at (737) 300-1200 and we’ll get your little artist enrolled in Extended Care for only the day you need.
If I miss a day of camp can I make it up somehow?:
  • Cordovan does not offer make-up camps.
Who is my teacher?:
  • Camp instructors vary from location to location. If you would like to learn more about our instructors visit our faculty page.
Will my camp be held if there is bad weather?:
  • If inclement weather could cause dangers to staff or campers Cordovan will contact you to inform you of any schedule changes.
I changed my mind and need to remove my student from a camp before it has begun. Can I get a refund?:
  •  We do not offer refunds for camps.  In order to provide the highest level of service and art instruction, we have to purchase supplies and hire teachers & staff ahead of time. 
Something came up and I need to remove my student from a camp that has already began. Can I get a refund?
  • We do not offer camp refunds, but in unexpected emergency situations we will give you a credit that can be used to register for another camp or class of your choice.  Account credits are only given when there is an unforeseen, emergency situation.

How do I apply a promo code?:
  • From time to time we offer promotions. When registering for a class insert your promo code into the correct box for promotional/discount codes. Cordovan manually applies discounts to your account before your card is charged. We will email you a final receipt once the discount has been applied and your card is charged.

What does a day at a Cordovan Art Camp look like?

  • Drop your artist off at the front desk so they can get their name tag and be told where to store their belongings.
  • If your artist is enrolled in Extended Care they will wait in the lobby where they can draw, socialize, and hang out with other artists. Books, phones, and other electronic devices are welcome but should be put away once Camp begins.
  • If enrolled in a full day of camp be sure to send your artist with lunch and two snacks! Lunch takes place 12:00-1:00pm and a snack break is taken during each 3 hour Camp block.
  • Morning Camps are 9:00am to 12:00pm. Afternoon Camps are 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Be sure to drop your artist off and pick them up on time! Enroll in extended care if you will be more than 15 minutes late picking up or if you wish to drop off before 8:45am.
  • Campers will leave the art they create through the week at the studio. All art will be taken home at the end of the week after their Art Show.
  • The last day of the camp week is Art Show day for parents and friends! If you can, come by the studio early to see YOUR artists work along with their new friends. Each studio will provide specific details on what time to arrive for the art show!

Glow in the Dark Art

Monday, Oct. 12th     9:00am - 12:00pm

This camp will have you all a glow. Create exciting works of art that are beautiful during the day then come alive when the lights go out.

You won't want to miss our most popular kids and teens workshop. This once a month Saturday camp pairs pottery painting and canvas painting into one epic event. Join us this October to paint a Frankenstein Piggy Bank and do a Halloween canvas painting inspired by Van Goh's Starry Night.

It may feel like summer outside but we are ready for a Texas fall in here. Using a variety of different mediums you will kick off the fall season with leaves, pumpkins, scarecrows and cornstalks.
