My name is Zainab Kader. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas with my three siblings. I am a self-taught artist and have been doing art since elementary school. I love working with all types of mediums but some of my favorites are oil pastels, acrylic and oil paints, fabric and paper. I love creating mixed media pieces such as painting or drawing collage. I have two years of experience as an art teacher assistant at a K-12 school. I am currently working towards my bachelor’s degree in painting at the University of Houston.
