Ilea Donell

I have been a practicing artist for over 20 years and most enjoy oil painting, watercolor, mixed media and ceramic hand built forms.  Art with whimsy, joy, mystery and maybe a bit of surrealism is my favorite kind to create, but I appreciate and encourage my students to explore all styles and art forms.  It’s what give the world color and texture, and therefore a more interesting and wonderful place in which to live.  I have had the privilege of teaching at Cordovan for almost 10 years and teaching high school art for 6 years.
