Dotti Berry

Artist & Educator

Dotti has 30 years of art instruction experience. She earned teaching artist certifications from the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Center for Arts Education, and from the John F. Kennedy Center Teaching Artist Program, both in NYC. She studied with Master Painters at Silvermine Arts Center in New Canaan, CT, studied craft at Penland School of Crafts in Asheville, NC and at Brookfield Fine Craft Center in CT, and holds a B.F.A, and a B.S. (in Design) from LSU, where she received the Dean’s Medal for the School of Art. Mentor, Master Painter Dmitri Wright, taught her painting at Silvermine and at Weir Farm National Historical Park, which is the only National Park devoted to painting and an important site for generations of American Impressionists.
