Yenizel Alvarez

Yenizel Alvarez is a Mexican American artist from Houston, Texas, who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas State University. Her work explores her cultural background, femininity, and first generation identity. In the classroom, she aims to share her technical knowledge to foster community connection and empower students through creative self expression.
