DRAWING & PAINTING
Each month of Drawing and Painting is broken up into units by medium. Students have the option of paying the designated supply fee listed below or may purchase their own supplies.
GRAPHITE & CHARCOAL
- 2 – Graphite pencils HB and 6B
- Kneaded eraser
- 14×17 Pad of Drawing Paper
PASTEL PENCIL DRAWING
- 1 – Set of Pastel Pencils – at least 12 colors.
- 1 – Set of Pastel half sticks – MUNGYO SOFT PASTELS 64 COLORS PASTEL SET (preferred)
- Kneaded eraser
- Pencil sharpener to fit your Pastel Pencils
- 14×17 Pad of Drawing Paper
WATERCOLORS
The supply fee is $25 per student – this includes the use of paints, brushes and paper.

not straight like a butter knife)

Tray or box lid to transport wet canvas to and from class.
Clean cotton rags from old T-shirts or PJ’s
(Old cotton rags are best because they don’t have as much lint.)
Optional: Disposable Latex gloves. These should be the tight fitting.
PAPER MACHE
Please bring newspaper, water bottle, white flour, tape, hot glue, styrofoam balls, and random objects like cardboard tissue boxes, toilet paper rolls, craft sticks, wire.

Watercolor Palette: find a large rectangular palette that holds as many paints as possible, with an area to mix the paints in the center of the palette.
