Maria is an artist and educator based in Houston, TX. After graduating from Sam Houston State University with a Biology degree, she decided to combine her love for animals, art, and education through her work. She is dedicated to sharing her passions with others by encouraging them to try all types of art mediums, techniques, and subject-matter, so they may find their own way to express their passions through art. In her free time, she enjoys experimenting with different mediums, especially mixed-media, for her commissioned artwork as well as her animal-themed educational videos that she posts on social media.
