Melissa L. Scott is what one might call an American nomad, having lived all over the United States. She earned her BFA from Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis with a major in general fine arts and a minor in art history. She has since gone on to be an award winning freelance illustrator, painter, muralist, and most recently a storyboard artist, head of story, and visual development artist with Wild Goat Animation, a collective started by former Disney animator James Lopez. Melissa has been trained in both traditional and digital media, giving her a wide area of expertise to share with her students.
