Nahyun Kim is an artist and illustrator from Houston, Texas. She received a BFA in Illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design, and her primary passion is visual development for video games, animation, and new media. Nahyun has a background in oil paint, watercolor, mixed media, and other traditional media, and she has multiple awards from both state and national competitions such as Houston Dog Show, Houston Rodeo, VASE, Scholastic, Don’t Mess With Texas, and so on.
In Nahyun’s personal works, she explores various media and styles of art, from traditional landscapes to 3D modeling and digital anime, as she enjoys discovering new methods of expression and creativity.Â
