Cordovan Arts is excited to team up with the RR Arts Council, and teach classes at the ART SPACE in downtown Round Rock (next to the Plaza, and across from the RR library). The ART SPACE offers a perfect setting for artistic inspiration with the sculpture gardens, beautiful plaza & fountains, natural light, and gallery that features local artists.
In these classes, we offer continuous enrollment, and we pro-rate tuition for students who start in the middle of a month. Tuition is paid monthly. No supplies needed–just show up for class and we’ve got you covered! For adult students who wish to enroll in 2 classes at the same time, the monthly tuition is only $252 (35% off); For 3 classes the tuition is only $336 (40% off). Classes are now accepting students. Classes require a minimum of four students. If the minimum enrollment is not reached one week before the first day of class, students may switch into another class or receive a full refund.

Oil Painting

Come and enjoy the thrill of oils, and paint like the masters!! This is one of the most popular classes for adults. You'll get to chose a photograph that you want to paint-- a scenic landscape, a personal portrait, vacation spot, or anything else--and then you'll start painting away! John will work with you individually to develop your skills that will take your paintings to the next level. Some prior oil painting experience recommended, but not necessary.
Art For Beginners & Intermediate
Gil Russell

If you are a little nervous about starting out--don't worry! You will be guided by one of the area's best art instructors, Gil Russell. He will help you get started by finding a photo to draw or paint that interests you (or you can bring one from home). You'll learn how to train you eyes to see, and you'll learn tricks and techniques that will help your art come to life. All mediums are OK to use in this class. Students work at their own pace on their individual projects.

Cordovan Arts is teaming up with Round Rock Arts to give you the best art environment in town! Summer Classes will be held at the Art Space, located in the downtown Plaza, across from the RR Library! Enjoy the sculpture gardens, the splash pad, and the artsy feel of downtown while sharpening your art skills!
If you want to experience a touch of everything, or if you are just plain indecisive, this is the perfect ART class for you! You'll get to work with a variety of media including watercolors, pencils, pastels, acrylics and more. It is the most popular class at Cordovan Art School for budding artists!
