Sarah Fagan is an artist and teacher based in Austin, TX. She currently works with college students as an adjunct professor at St. Edward’s University and with preschool students at the Children’s Discovery Center. Sarah received a BA in English, Art History, and Studio Arts from Stonehill College in North Easton, MA, a post-baccalaureate certificate in bookmaking from the Oregon College of Art and Craft in Portland, OR, and an MFA in Drawing and Painting from UT Austin in Austin, TX. Sarah has attended several artist residencies in the U.S. and Canada, including a year-long residency at the Umbrella Arts Center in Concord, MA in 2016. Her work has been shown nationally. Primarily a painter (though she dabbles in stop-motion animation), Sarah’s favorite subjects are small everyday objects. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and playing video games.
